Silly me. I forgot all about that, fire in Lefthand Canyon. I was at eco cycle earlier and a fella told me that a power line by a transformer blew down, being dry as it is here I suppose a few sparks is all it takes… I’m guessing between 10 and 15 miles. I was east of town. The fire is/was north and west of me. You could see a lot of smoke blowing eastward.
Hopefully the rest of his body will soon match it.
Dru is close enough for Pib to give her the “kiss” (I can’t remember how to spell it, my brain resembles a block of Swiss Cheese tonight), then Dru can set about cleaning house with a passion!
Well, we’ll have to see if these are just plain arrows (in which case Dru’ll shrug it off) or if they have more of a hellishness about them, (which a kiss from Pib may or may not fix) or maybe they’ll need something else??
The way Tom’s got his eyes open, Oognat (sp?) could get him good right now…
Actually, there are two differences - one more subtle than the other.
And, in either version, i like the way Dru loses the dress in a hurry and it’s still intact.
Also, her necklace is back in Panel 1.
I think Tom is a former gameshow host who’s been darned to Heck (does anyone need to ask why?), and his eternal punishment is running game shows with guests like Dru and Pib…
I would really like to see Dru make Tom match his shirt….either color. Red because she beat him bloody, or white because she beat all of the blood out of him!
That would be a good start to the week, and maybe have Luciano show up to work on Spitcock and maybe Geoff appear with his accordion to finish the rest of the cast!
Remember the name of the strip - “Misfile” - Ash is really a boy, changed to a girl because a pothead angel misfiled his folder in the “17 Year Old Girls” drawer…

Pibgorn is definitely for an audience that enjoy humor laced with good grammar and allusions you can easily recall. It’s for an audience that can actually follow a (are you ready?) plot!!!!. The audacity of intellect.
True zaphire. Pibgorn is for comics fans that like a great storyline and excellent artwork. Don’t worry about knobs like itisme, insults and put downs are their raison d’etre. They need to belittle others to inflate their egos. Very sad, really.

Ooo, thats a pissed off, frustrated look if I’ve ever seen one!
Mr. McE trusts that his readers are intelligent can fill in the gaps, like figuring out the missing word in a sentence. Oops, I guess itisme doesn’t have enough imagination to do that. There are comic artists, and graphic artists. There is nothing wrong with the first, but Mr. McE definitely belongs to the second set.
To StoryTeller…
Sorry to interrupt your fun, but my response to ‘itsme’ is fairly concise: ‘Go elsewhere if this is ‘too lame’ for you. I know for a fact that there are many, MANY other comic-strips out there. Some don’t require any brain-work at all to understand.
“Call me a romantic, but I bet Spitcock took the arrows for Dru.” - Talisyn
I LIKE the way you’re thinking but unfortunately you can see the arrows behind Dru in panel 4. Looks like Dru and Pib will have to get out of this one on their own.
A fantastic saga of adventure both high and low, of forbidden passion and iambic pentameter, of fays, fools, organists, demons, accordions, heaven, hell and Shakespeare, Pibgorn follows the whims and flights of its eponymous fairy heroine as she plies her conviction that there must be more to life than depositing dew drops on dandelions and sleeping under mushrooms.

Only one real difference tonight, but it makes it fun to switch back and forth.
