Mercy! Talk about the original spider-woman… that is the scariest face I’ve ever seen on Drusilla. No hint of anything but malevolence!

She has no compelling reason to attack Roger in particular, but I get the feeling she’s not in her right mind at this moment…

Panel 2, as she regains consciousness, shows she is still our favorite succubus; panel 3, a truly terrifying Dru, may be “just” her unholy demonic rage for vengeance on Inky, the poor wretch! To clarify the Pibgorn Tree and the Christmas Pickle. Somebody mentioned day before yesterday (Frida I think) putting up a tree near the Couch o’ Confusion, so I dubbed it the Pib Tree. The Pickle is actually a german Xmas tradition. (really)
I’m curious as to what kind of family joke involves a pickle now…

By request here is my little answer to the rhyme challenge
(albeit not re-written lyrics…)

Our tale began with frozen wings
upon a fairy named Pibgorn.
A mouse, Maurice, the doorbell rings,
to save his friend who crashed mid-morn.

She needed warmth to thaw her out,
so, to an unsuspecting Geoff
comes the beginning of a rout.
(I’ll bet he wishes he’d been deaf.)

His church won’t like his new-found “slave”
and even less will Drucilla.
But she with Pib, together gave
to him they loved a new villa.

But that was then and this is now:
Once captive in Farfallaland
(their mojo saved in lamplight glow)
they now find friends are all at hand.

Small Lena with her great big hoe,
A portal guards with Satori,
They mince up their mutual foe!
Yuck, that must have been so gory.

They all joined forces to defeat
A foul and evil man: Spitcock.
He seemed to have them almost beat
‘til Lena swung and cleaned his clock.

Roger and Dru met in the lab
Once they got out of Suzerain.
(Of course Dru’s now flat on the slab
We don’t know if she’s in much pain.)

So now we wait for next up date
to see if we are right or wrong
in what we guess will be the fate
of those that have been in this song.

So…. mojo is like steroids? Dru looks PUMPED up. Dru’s color faded while Inky drained her. Does this mean that Inky has deflated and turned pale? Perhaps Lena’s hoe is enough to smack him down in his weakened state. I can’t wait to see what Dru does with all of this power.

Frank Kelly Freas, possibly the greatest SF illustrator ever - winner of more Hugo awards than anyone else - liked to work from live models and photo reference (he once hired an actual descendant of William of Orange to pose for a magazine cover from Heinlein’s Double Star) decided on the composition he wanted for the magazine cover for Poul Anderson’s Operation Afreet {http://farm1.static.flickr.com/98/242865457ecf6d2ff67o.jpg}, and was going to use his wife, Polly to pose. Unfortunately, he found that he had to takie two photos and cut and past them, because the pose chosen required her to bend backward about twice as much as was possible…

I just recently read something in one of my ezines that made me really miss Colorado. I miss the Rocky Mountain Oysters! There aren’t anything like that around here that I have seen, and I’m sure even if I could find them they just wouldn’t be the same. I think I need to go visit the Front Range again soon! While that’s true, it nowhere says that she said that Amos’ is better than hers.
*Every instrument has its own “vcoice” - this is more noticeable among strings (where re-varnishing the instrument can change the character) than most others.

What she has said - which i’d consider filing a libel/slander suit over, if i were the judges, since she is impugning their professionalism is that, the judges (according to her), being biased in favour of Amos, will recognise the “voice” of his instrument and vote accodingly.

Nah - i don’t wana spoil the fun for the others.

Try this - add a couple of tags (you can remove them with the “Edit Tags” function later).

To make a multiword tag, you have to include it in quotes, otherwise every word is treated as a separate tag, and the result is something like: “othewrise, every, word, is, treated, as, a, separate, tag”

So try this. Copy the entire next line, quotes and all:

“It is impossible to use some characters in tags!” “It’s impossible to use some characters in tags!”

Then paste it into the “Add Tag” block and post it.

Then look at the one that begins “Roger’s…”
