If nothing else, if we all favorite the strip, we can get a count of the number of unique logins that have viewed the strip for any given day (so we know how many donuts to bring to the couch next time…) Twizzlers and Peanut-butter cups on the end table for those that want a sugar rush… Night all!!

I believe the theory is that ‘favoriting’ strips is something like a popularity contest; at worst, we’re telling someone (or something; whatever is keeping track of strips that have been ‘favorited’) that Mr. McE’s work is popular; at best, said popularity will give Mr. McE more artistic freedom.
Or something like that. I’ve got a stomach bug at the moment and am feeling somewhat less-than-completely-coherent.
To “Favorite” a strip, you have to be registered. This will give the webhost a tally of those registered who like one strip better than others and may influence which strips remain and which do not when it is time to renew the artists contracts.
It seems to me the comment count (and Quality) would be a good
measure to encourage advertisers, also the hit count could
be useful. If each of us refreshes 20 to 40 times an evening that
would raise the hit count. Now PibPress represents 99.2% of the
ads seen here, maybe they have an exclusive on this.
Greetings, all. It seems we are moving towards a denouement - but I am kind of sorry to see Roger being so careless with the Satoris. I know they are NPC’s and all that, but I was hoping he’s find some way to get her out of Suzerain.

I’m afraid I have to add my vote…add this to the boilerplate along with a description of how to do it and an explanation why.
Please.
In addition to “favoriting,” if you make this your homepage it will tag something in the web browsers and…oh, I shouldn’t have slept through HTML class that day!
Theory: Roger will wait for Spinky to hit ‘empty’ and will either then block him from rejuicing, or will send in the ‘real’ Satori to get him when he’s powerless.
Those are birds taking flight with surprise due to the crack of electrical mojo bursting through the tree tops from the clearing.
How is Dru going to get her mojo back? Someone mentioned something about going back to hell, but didn’t I read in the background info something about her rejecting evil? Can she still go back?
mmm twizzlers (chew chew chew)
So… do we get another plethora of Satoris now? I have the feeling that any more than 38 Satoris will have them talking amongst themselves. Satori: “Why am I beside myself?”
I think Dru’s scorn in the last panel is more like “If you’re taking the Mojo back, why aren’t you giving it to me?”
OK, I think I’ve just sent myself to the couch. D’oh
“How is Dru going to get her mojo back? Someone mentioned something about going back to hell, but didn’t I read in the background info something about her rejecting evil? Can she still go back?”
She’s been back once or twice since then - one time when she was bored, she dived down to spend a nice relaxing afternoon lolling on an obsidian crag in the middle of a lava lake…
Fly Guy says: *It seems to me the comment count (and Quality) would be a good

Sadly, in that context, I find that ads slow down the page something terrible, sometimes to the point of being inaccessible (possibly on account of the ad servers and me being on opposite sides of the Atlantic). Hence I’ve invoked AdBlock to remove the delay and let me read my beloved Pibgorn. And it’s not the only place where I’ve had to remove ads to be able to access. The least the advertisers could do is make sure their ads are stored on servers with enough mojo to meet the pressure of Pib readers. What the heck is the point in having broadband if most of your time is spent standing in line for ads anyway?
Second/third/fifth (take a little wine for thy stomach’s sake?) the good wishes Fearciuil. It’s a nasty bug that’s making the rounds. My son’s got it and and to cancel his birthday dinner with us yesterday.
We may be winding to a denoument but I think we’ve still got a way to go. If Roger’s biding his time, that must mean the maestro’s is gathering up all the loose ends and putting them in order also. But at least for this week the question will probably be what’s going on with Satori. Was Satori, or rather were the Satoris, changed into birds?
refuse to believe Luciano’s just been on a tour of other comic strips all these weeks. There are so many other things that need ‘splaining, too.
Rats, gotta leave for work, it’s 8 in the mayhem on this side of the farm and the kiddos await. I’ve left cheesey scrambled eggs with chives and Canadian bacon under that silver cover on the hot tray, assorted muffins in the covered basket, and there’s fresh-squeezed oj in the pitcher, Sumatra/French roast coffee is in the thermos. Have a good day all-thanks for the peanut butter cups, I snagged a couple for snack time, Pacii!
Good morning.
Denouement indeed…. Begs the questions of course: 1. where exactly is that mojo going; 2. wonder why Dru hasn’t made a move for the lamp just in case Spinky merely took a fix rather than draining it?
So many questions, so little coffee.
Enjoy the day, folks.

Regarding Luann, Greg Evans seems to open up the strip a little when Toni makes an appearance. If you can, check out the strips from 04/18/2007 and 04/19/2007.
I don’t think there’s much significance to the birds except as a visual effect – every bird in the forest startled into flight by the blast (in the case of today’s strip), or scream (in the case of Lena’s original predicament).
A fantastic saga of adventure both high and low, of forbidden passion and iambic pentameter, of fays, fools, organists, demons, accordions, heaven, hell and Shakespeare, Pibgorn follows the whims and flights of its eponymous fairy heroine as she plies her conviction that there must be more to life than depositing dew drops on dandelions and sleeping under mushrooms.
