A friend and i used to speculate who would qualify under the Texas “Needed Killin’” Law.
I think Dru has decided Satori does.

Drusilla is just not very disciplined. But then, why would a succubus, given her job category, be?
Unfortunately, some people are so evil as to “need killin’”. Trouble is, our judges don’t think so, even when some evil person does something unspeakable.

Brooke - an awesome silhouette of Dru with full wingspread and hair unfurled against the backdrop of a sunset. Truly magnificent.
And the sketch shows her hair detail, too.

Methinks somebody needs to buy Satori a clue!
.
Or mayhaps since she’s merely a game character with no reality analog, she just resets along with everything else?

… And there’s the scimitar.

Q: Why does Brooke draw such strange and wonderful pictures?
A: Because he can.
Wow, to be able to draw like that…

Hmmm..
Drusilla does what she wants. I suppose being a succubus means that you can behave like a 5-year old AND having the power to get what you want.
I think I’ll personally stay away from succubi….

Greg…isn’t that kind of the point of being a succubus…you can’t stay away from them no matter how much you want to?

Yup, Satori, she killed you. Don’t worry, you’re still five or six kills up on her. But you better watch out, Dru has a real come-from-behind talent.

I wish I had a fragment of the artistic talent Brooke has. When I think what he could do with a sculpture I can picture clearly in my mind that plays an important part in a thriller I’m working on … Picture a dragon with the upper torso and arms of a woman.

hey GorgoloChick -
Kind of sounds like Dru. I am sure she could manifest that way if she wanted to/if it suited her purpose in wreaking havoc in the mind of her current victim/client/lucky dog.
I am imagining the long sinuous scaly afterbody, either with or without clawed feet depending on the style of dragon you evoke. Hmmm…. Yep, still sexy.

Don’t forget, in DnD, Succubi are Chaotic Evil. I don’t think Dru is evil any more, but she sure is Chaotic as all get out.
I wonder if the Powers-that-be notice how amny comments Pibgorn gets?

corwin_argentus - Yeah, I think it’s the game version of Dru that made me wish I could draw like Brooke, at least long enough to draw my ‘Dragon Lady’, ‘cause the colors are so like what I picture. I picture the long, sinuous Oriental style dragon, with legs, and now with wings like Dru/Pib currently displays.

I had to join this site just to be able to add my two cents on the comments for Pibgorn. This strip is my favorite for so many reasons I can’t list them all. The drawing is tops though, and the writing, and the characters, and………..

GorgioChick–I’d love to see the drawing…perhaps your avatar will morph one day?

txmystic - That’s my problem - I can’t draw it! I see it clearly in my mind, morphed some by viewing Brooke’s artistry. Yeah, if I ever manage to draw an even reasonably close approximation, I might even replace Foster the Lushguin as my avatar. The two are actually connected! What part of tx you from? I’m a Austinite.

Actually, prog, if you look, the strap is regenerated before the reset takes effect.
And shoudn’t it be noon if the game’s reset?
AliKazam: It may not actually be ths scimitar we’ve seen Satori with wmpty scabbard waiting for its return after a reset before.

GorgioChick–Austin, baby! (Drippin’ to be exact). And do not lose heart…I have the same trouble with music. I’ll compose something I like, but then listen to Patty Griffin’s Flaming Red and suddenly I’m not worthy. Keep on keepin’ on, though, I know it’ll come! Although, I DO admit an affinity for the Lushguin! ;-)

Re: time of day…I think that when Roger threw himself and Satori off the castle wall recently, one of them mentioned it was sunrise when they reset (it was nighttime before). Perhaps it is not a constant what time of day the reset occurs?

no magic was released, so it couldn’t go to high noon again…which may be a reason the sky is as it is? everything else resets though? just a thought.

Per EMLYN:
Dru & Pib are not human people, therefore are fair game for such as Spitcock. Lena & Roger are collateral damage.

I don’t want to compare to closely the current storyline to the old cartoon “Reboot” but there slight similarities. It too had characters that would get trapped in computer games. Except in Reboot if they lost the game they were dead and gone. Dru and crew are forced to replay the game over and over.
Simon_Jester said, about 1 year ago
All I can say is…
If THAT’S what Dru does to people who are only ‘getting to be pretty annoying’, then someone better not put her in the same room with Eddie Murphy.
