In some games you only have so many lives. I wonder if this is the case.

I don’t believe that he’ll kill off Dru, she too intregral a character. She is my favorite part of the strip.

Make that ,”she’s too integral a character.”

There is no way he’d ax Dru, she’s as much a part of this strip as Pib herself.

Don’t forget, Pib’s & Dru’s “spirits” Are tethered in some sort of game central.

I forgot to mention: Who is the mounted Knight who ran Dru through with his lance, just to annoy her?

I know Dru is just down but not out. Remember when she was incinerated?

Been working through the back issues to get some context. It’s worth the effort.

To read the story arcs without going back through the archives, check out my Pibgorn tribute page here: http://home.comcast.net/~ccdesan/Pibgorn/Pibgorn.html

aerwalt, I think the knight might be another manifestation of Spitcock, to get her to attack the evil queen, knowing she would repeatedly send her into the dream state, where he could come in as an incubus…

What happened to July 28, 2008 Pibgorn?
TJ said, about 1 year ago
ccdesan,
Thanks for the link to your site. Very nice write up on the characters and story arcs.

Dear CCdesan, Thank you so much! I came in to Pibgorn during the Henmellyn story, just as Pib was turned into a tree. Imagine my confusion.
I wonder too, where is July 28? Brooke is out of gall bladders so I hope it’s not serious.

Brooke is investigating the hold up. He’s fine.
CCdesan: your web site is great.

The problem Dru and Pib face is that they’ve been merged into a computer simulation created by a manic genius who’s figured out how to blend magic and technology. The rules they knew may no longer apply. I suspect the demonic character and the mounted knight are that same prof at his own workstation.

I was told that the hosting facility for Gocomics endured a power outage yesterday, most likely at the time I was uploading today’s Pib (I tend to finish the drawings late and post late, while the cartoons are still piping hot). I really must post earlier. Blame me.

ccdesean - The Pibgorn tribute site is very nice and a great service to fans - thank you very much. But dude, you seriously need an editor. The summary of Coffeecup is just about right, but the others aren’t summaries, they’re wholesale retellings of the stories. Besides, at that level of detail, you’re losing readers. Better to provide a short overview and let them go to the original strips for the whole story.

Dear Kirk, While I appreciate your editorial advice of ccdesan, I would like to add that I thoroughly appreciate the length of his descriptions. To each his own.

THE EVIL QUEEN DID IT!!!
Oooooh, she IS evil!
jazzbeau said, about 1 year ago
Don’t blame yourself, Brooke. Pluggers is also not updating, so unless all comic strips are filed at the last minute, that wasn’t the problem.
On the other hand, maybe Spitcock has hacked gocomics.com!

All I know is – I’m experiencing serious withdrawal symptoms here. Gremlins be gone!

They are still trying to sort out the problem with updating Pibgorn along with a few other strips. There is a suggestion that eldritch powers are at work. Personally, I’m frightened, but I try to keep a level head.

Now I’m worried. Two days without Pibgorn. I hope she back soon before I have a nervous break down!

I agree, I am experiencing headaches and irritability. Oh wait … I’m always like that.

TJ said, about 1 year ago
God help me, I do love it so.

Whatever the reason… what we have here is a MAJOR cliff-hanger. I seriously doubt it could have been done any better with planing.
Stay tuned… :)

Killed off? Not a chance. Remember this is a videao game, and no one dies, no matter how many times they get “killed” they just return, almost immediately.
WHo is the mysterious knight? Gott abe the old bleeep the invented the “game” to begin with. Who is the queen? None other than Lena, Roger’s sis suposedly killed by the knight. Any bets?
