    In defeat, she gives up one of the "a"’s from “blaart” as a symbol of concession to the victor.

    and so the Spaghetti monster god was born. Unicorn! I just hope theres still SOME magic left in the hair. I’ll miss the hair if not it made Dakota interesting like having a super power. On the other hand the hair could just be re-enchanted some how and made Goblin-proof or some thing and then theres the whole Gobkota thing. Will she come home to a Goblin being a better Dakota then Dakota was? Will she get to keep her new little sister? Or will we just never go back to this plot line after today?

    I could see the ‘Goblin Queen’ eating the spaghetti and useing that magic by changing into a pretty blonde ponytailed girl who becomes friends with Phoebe and Dakota, making them less “Frienemies” and more Friends.

    It’s a rare treat when everyone gets what they want without a problem… so what’s the catch here?

    So does Blart in this case mean, ‘Dang’ or ‘Who cares I have magic spaghetti’?

    “Hey, Jose, he win. He got the short straw.”

    “He’s a lucky fellow.”

    “We hold your sombrero for you, eh Jose?”

    We shall soon find out… There is a mathematical theorem which states that on a ball that is covered with “hair” (fibers, like a tennis ball), it is impossible to make all of the hairs lie flat simultaneously (this theorem and other strange ones were described in a news report last year). I picture Marigold’s interaction with our world as her attempts to make all of the “hairs” (unintended consequences of her magic) lie flat at once, but always failing to quite achieve that state… (Ozy got shaved a lot; maybe there’s a ‘cosmic connection’ between the two? :-) )

    So many questions! If you eat magicked spaghetti, do you get magic…you know…?

    Or will the spaghetti resist being eaten and take on a life of its own, becoming the Flying Spaghetti Monster of legend?

    And won’t Dakota miss her magic hair?

    Prunella’s still adorable (I hope Prunella and Litl Gerl will be recurring characters), but I’m a little disturbed to realize she’s not wearing so much as a shirt.

    I either found the subtlest-ever-reference or the funniest-ever-coincidence of the comic:

    @Monster Hesh

    If they’re related to the old D&D goblins, they’re reptilian despite the hair. And with some reptiles he or she can depend on the weather or what they’ve been eating.

    So it’s not OK for Phoebe to try to distract Dakota, but it is OK for Marigold to distract Prunella. History is written by the winners.

    Though the goblins are practically naked, you will notice how their chests and naked butts have been so artfully concealed.
