    So why did the goblins kidnap Dakota? Do want to end the current queen’s reign and have Dakota reign them or something?

    @TEMPLO S.U.D.

    Who says that the goblins kidnapped Dakota? She might very well be there on her own free will.

    Dakota doesn’t seem terribly concerned.
    We need Paul Blart… mall cop.

    So Goblins can only say “Blart” and they don’t have a King who is super handsome and lives in a labyrinth and Dakota is being some kind of diplomat, perhaps ending the dispute over Pancakes vs waffles ?

    Better than when Dali and Picasso met each other.

    Well! Sure there’s a story behind this “staring contest”. I want to know that story. Yes, I’ll wait.

    Somebody noticed that depending of your point of view the perception of who seems to be losing changes?

    This could take a while. Marigold and Phoebe should order some fries and a drink.

    Maybe they got the idea from the Conan O’Brien/Andy Richter staring contests…or maybe vice-versa…

    Is one of the goblins named Slartibartfast?

    That’s an interesting balancing trick Marigold is doing in panel 1. Oh, wait. Of course. Unicorn.

    @WaitingMan

    Yup. If she were a horse she would fall over, they usually need to keep at least two diagonally opposite feet on the ground while walking. Of course the artist may have made a mistake.

    @Masterius

    I agree, I think the kidnapping is actually a Dakota power play.

    Judging by the expessions on their faces, it looks like Dakota-1, Queen-0.
