    I get this sense of pride out of Marigold.

    Ah, the eternal wish of the youth to be “normal”, even if it is “you’re a jerk” normal

    That’s not nice to say to a little girl!

    It’s okay; Marigold’s a girl too!

    Hmm… Wonder how old Marigold is and how that compares to Phoebe… (Unicorn years vs. Human years I mean.)

    That’s one leonine tail for an equine. Now I remember that it’s the cartoonist’s trademark to incorporate a brush into animal characters.

    @Tom Flapwell

    That’s actually the traditional tail for a unicorn. That’s the way it appears on medieval tapestries. Good for Dana for portraying her unicorn in that way – as opposed to the kitschy horsie-with-a-horn-tacky-gift-shop type of unicorn. Marigold is much more appealing that way, in my opinion.

    Your posting of promotional material for this strip on another strip’s comments forum is thinly veiled. If Dana approves, not good. People who frequent Gocomics are a lot more savvy than you may think.
    I certainly will not be back. There are indeed classier ways to achieve an end.
