    If you made linguini with this sauce, I wouldn’t blame Rat. I’m not particularly fond of clams either (I do realize others are).

    Clam Sauce for Spaghetti or Linguine

    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 cup olive oil
    2 1/2 cups (20-ounce can) Italian tomatoes
    1 quart cherrystone clams, in shell
    1 tablespoon chopped parsley

    Sauté the garlic in oil until the garlic is golden.
    Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper and cook for 20 minutes.
    Shell the clams and add them whole to sauce.
    Cook for 10 minutes; add parsley and serve over spaghetti or linguine.
    SERVES 4.

    The CIA is 2 hours south of me in Hyde Park, NY. They have 3 resturants open to the public.The students rotate through all the jobs (waiter, etc) not just cooking. Great chow, reasonable $
