    Shag carpeting is back? Nothing new under the sun. Terrazo floors are standard where I live and even though they’re cold in winter, I’d never go back to carpeting now that I know how filthy fitted carpet must get, down where you can’t see it.

    Yep. It’s very high maintenance. Vacuuming it just gets some of the dirt.
