At its heart, Pearls Before Swine is the comic strip tale of two friends: an arrogant Rat who thinks he knows it all and a slow-witted Pig who doesn't know any better. Together, this pair offers caustic commentary on humanity's quest for the unattainable. Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams says that Pearls is "one of the few comics that make me laugh out loud." The strip has twice won the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben division award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip – in 2003 and in 2006.

If we could tax stupidity, we’d have budget surpluses far into the future.
Stan King said, 8 months ago
Yep, it’s called the lottery and it’s completely constitutional because the stupid people volunteer to pay.

How about having a personal tax increase every time you don’t use a turn signal when legally required to do so.

The tax on tobacco is a tax that stupid people continue to pay.

If we taxed the stupid most of Congress would have to start paying double.

‘Tis true, lottery is oft called the Fools’ Tax; but a simple, straightforward tax on stupidity would be a most deserving variety of “sin tax,” along with the already-existing high taxes on alcohol, tobacco, etc.

The lottery is millions of stupid people making one stupid person look smart.

No government employee, elected or not, pays any real taxes.
.
1) There is the Government.
.
2) There are the people we allow to control the Government on our behalf and the people they, in turn hire to provide what are commonly called “Government Services” (Armed forces, police, courts, public roads, public schools, etc.).
.
3) The people who control the Government assess the rest of the population taxes on behalf of the Government to pay themselves and the people they hire .
.
4) All monies assessed in point 3 come from what is commonly called the private sector.
.
5) If all government employees or controllers received only the net value of their pay cheques after the “taxes” assesed, the private sector’s taxes would not go down one penny. All that money came from the private sector.

We are ALL stupid enough to elect them and then they raise taxes on us while paying very little themselves. Too late rat your policy has already been tested and proved over the last 30 to 40 decades.
