At its heart, Pearls Before Swine is the comic strip tale of two friends: an arrogant Rat who thinks he knows it all and a slow-witted Pig who doesn't know any better. Together, this pair offers caustic commentary on humanity's quest for the unattainable. Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams says that Pearls is "one of the few comics that make me laugh out loud." The strip has twice won the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben division award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip – in 2003 and in 2006.

it’s surprising how often your stress disappears when you only have your boxers on

I once had a trip like that. Only I was going to Albany—and my luggage went to Miami.

“Getting on a plane, I told the ticket lady, ‘Send one of my bags to New York, send one to Los Angeles, and send one to Miami.’ She said, ‘We can’t do that!’ I told her, ‘You did it last week!’” (Henny Youngman)

There was an actual news report somewhere back in the early 1990s about some young guy who was kind of confused at LAX and asked to get on the flight to Oakland. However, he was in the international terminal and they directed him to the wrong plane. After 4 hours in the air — way longer than it should have taken — he finally asked what the holdup was and discovered he was on his way to AUCKland — as in New Zealand. It turned out OK, tho, as he was kind of a local hero in both cities for a week, and the airline made it up to him.

Does Stephan fly in his underwear? Or does this take place in a future where the TSA has mandated that for all passengers?

@Milhouse van Houten
We won’t have REAL security on flights until they strip all the passengers and lock them in their seats for the duration of the flight.
Just like Con-Air.

And yeah, I, too, wondered why Steph didn’t at least have the clothes he wore to the airport….
Or if he’s home now, a change of clothes from his own house.
But then I thought ….wait a minute…. do I want realism…. or do I wanna see Steph in his underwear ???
3 guesses!
Woot woot!

At least Stephan isn’t in Albany too. He’s find it a mite chilly there this time of year in only his skivvies.
