I think Lucy is practicing Iatroism without a license. But maybe since Snoopy sometimes types novels on his typewriter, he has also printed her up a license.

“iatros,” Greek, “healer,” plus “phobia,” Greek, found in compound words and derived from “phobos,” “fear.”

No surprising Charlie Brown is afraid of doctors. It’s already been established that he has “pantophobia” (the fear of everything).

Presumably ‘pantophobia’ includes the fear of pantos (which can be genuinely scary for little kids if you’ve got a good villain).

And the fear of pants ;-)

Arachiphobia: fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth. Or so I’m told.

The “heavy breathing” reminds me of the woman who was in the middle of an asthma attack when the phone rang. Picking it up, she hears heavy breathing on the other end. She asks, “Did you call me, or did I call you?”
