    Interesting how Lucy just stood in shock when Violet told her a few days ago.

    They are a family of weirdos, what’s next for them? A little brother with a silly name? Naaaaahhhh…

    And out of nowhere, a swarm of Angry Bees descend upon Lucy…

    I think that was a mix of her being shunned by the birds and sticking up for her brother…You were just there at the wrong time Charles…bad timing indeed…

    What is SO wrong with that?? I pat my parakeets on their heads, and I pet them on their backs and stroke their chests.
    They love it and will fly over to me and give me kisses!!

    I suppose Lucy would’ve done the same if CB had told her her brother has a blanket or if he’d told her he waits for the Great Pumpkin.

    She didn’t belt Violet when she told her that…

    Nice coloring background for the third panel.

    @Robert Nowall

    Violet told her first. She didn’t want to hear it again. Hence, poor CB got the brunt of it.

    Charlie brown just seems to get the very worst end of every situation, or he wouldn’t be Charlie Brown.

    Besides, I get the feeling that Violet would hit back…

    Lucy’s jealous bc she can’t pat birds on the head. The last time she tried to, they flew away. I would too. Haha She reminds me so much of Nancy or Nellie Oleson from Little House on The Prairie.

    I think she’s heard that enough times.

    But there’s nothing wrong with patting birds on their heads. Nothing wrong at all.

    @unclescrooge

    I just have to say, having bird-sat a friend’s sun conure, that having a bird fly over to you, on purpose, is an amazing feeling.
