Linus is well-prepared for the working world. Sick days? What are those?

    re: legalegal

From a purely mercenary point of view, the smart employers realized that it was a lot cheaper to have sick days than to have an entire shift sick from a bug at a given time.
The dumb ones were like Bend Millworks years ago when they would take a stopwatch and dock the pay for the number of seconds that it took an employee with the flu to run to the bathroom, throw up, and return. Never mind that the entire shift would be down the next week from being around someone coughing and hacking. And never mind that it was an incredible waste of money to have some “manager” do that.
As an SBO, I sometimes wonder what they teach at some of these “business schools”. Waste $100 to save $10… And make everyone resentful at the fools in management, to boot.

A dizzy kid is something to fear!
    Go back home Linus-NOW!
You won’t be able to afford the college of your choice!

Do you need to attend school everyday to go to college in the future? I’ve never heard of that as being a requirement.

When I was a kid and collected all the Peanuts paperbacks Linus was kinda my role model. I always felt he was a thoughtful little kid and I tried to be a thoughtful little kid too. In many ways I’m still that wishful kid.

Sadly, Linus will never grow up, thus never get to college…after so many years.

In my opinion, with Linus being the straight-A, honor roll kid that he is, maybe that’s why he really cannot afford to miss even so much as one day of school, if he desires to go to college.

With a sister like Lucy, it’s no wonder that Linus is dizzy.

Somehow I don’t think Linus will have to worry about going to college…

Maybe Linus has worries about September 11, 2001 – 35 years after the original strip of 1966.

It’s no wonder Linus is dizzy, he’s forgotten his blanket.
