How did they get such a high place if they lose all the time?

Yeah. I wonder why it is. It doesn’t make sense. Haha

FYI, it’s not a good idea to play ball in sandals.

It’s not a good idea to go to job interviews in flipflops, either—but these days young people do it all the time. Little did PP (or Schulz) know that 40 years later she’d be the height of fashion! Flip-flops, baggy shorts, sloppy shirt; yup, right up there. But PP managed without tattoos and piercings.

Mac?! PP certainly knows how to endear herself to all folks!

When Marcie kissed Charlie Brown many years later, he had reason to have his hat up in the air for three panels.

“Chuck’s” cap must be on too tight.

I remember reading this years ago, but I don’t remember if they win or not. Frankly, I can’t envision Charlie Brown’s team winning, no matter who the manager is.

I too don’t remember if they win. I’m pretty sure they don’t. I doubt that PP could even start to undo all of Chuck’s ‘hard work’. ;)

Actually, the team is pretty good as long as CB isn’t pitching. During the season where CB hurts his elbow, Linus does the pitching and they go on a winning streak. Unfortunately, CB insists on pitching in a critical game and they lose again. If I recall, PP is an excellent player who goes on later to manage a competing team (which always grinds CB’s team to dust)
