I wonder… if he ever actually DID talk to her, would his name cease to be Charlie Brown?

In a parallel universe, Charlie Brown DOES talk to her and eventually marries her. His adult life is similar to Al Bundy’s life in the sitcom, “Married, with Children”.

I am much like that as well, except pretty doesn’t matter…its my biggest fear in life and I fight constantly to overcome it. I would have been the kid waiting then seeing her and running away as fast as I could.

I seem to recall a TV special where Charlie Brown does actually get close to the little red-haired girl (Heather). He kissed her on the cheek at the dance, but the next morning he woke up and had no memory of what happened afterward.

Good memory! I remember that special, too. I think it was titled “It’s Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown”.

We’ve been shown, by other artists, how Charlie Brown and company live as adults. It isn’t pretty.

That was “It’s Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown.” Charles Schulz didn’t write that show, though, and is on record as saying that it “did not count” as far as events in the comic strip are concerned.
