    This is so funny..I’ve tried to read the ingred. but it is just too much and you would end up just eating carrots out of your garden..which is not a bad thing.

    Actually, no. That was before they forced manufacturers to print the ingredients in regular English instead of using words like “sodium chloride” instead of “salt.” I remember. I was there. An ingredient list could be frightening if you didn’t know what the words meant. I also remember when it was “revealed” (as in most people didn’t realise) that the order in which ingredients appear on the list is directly proportional to the quantity in the processed food in question. So if “Water” or “Sugar” comes first, that’s mostly what you’ve got.

    One time I noticed that when I made a particular kind of herbal tea my cats would all come running and sit around me, looking up expectantly. It wasn’t until I read the ingredient list and saw “catnip” listed that I understood why! (For the record, it was Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer.)

    Nah. It’d have been filled with all sorts of weird and wonderful chemicals, most of which are now illegal.
