    1935…wow
    I guess that means there’s another Great Depression.
    (I actually pay attention in History Class o.O)

    Didn’t think that far ahead, did you, Lucy? (What IS the address of Father Time anyway?)

    Boy, she sure pays attention…what is it about today that was repeated from 1935 Lucy, except a lot of people are broke…That’s as much as I know, all the days look alike to me…

    Lucy, it wouldn’t be a “used year”, it would be a “recycled year”!

    The drawing is especially good today in the various depictions of Linus. I love his expressions as he thinks about what Lucy is saying.

    @Starwars54

    If you consider how the government manipulates unemployement to make it look better than it really is we are probably in the 20% of unemployed people or higher.

    Government only considers those receiving unemployment benefits as being unemployed, if they have fallen off or never qualified in the first place then they are not included in the numbers. By some estimates we currently have more unemployed than we did in the 30’s…I doubt the government would be truely honest in this matter due to politics from both sides.
