If ever there is an iconic comic strip, it is Peanuts. What began in the funny pages in 1950 has developed into an enduring classic. Whether you're persnickety like Lucy, a philosopher like Linus, a joyous Flying Ace like Snoopy, or a lovable underdog like Charlie Brown, there is something to touch your heart or make you laugh in Peanuts.

I’ve posted six Peanuts strips over at Calvin and Hobbes today, showing how Snoopy changed over a period of 40 years.

I read this week that doctors did a study on patching the strong eye of adults with amblyopia, and it worked just as it does in small children. They had assumed it wouldn’t work, so it hadn’t been tried before. I thought that was really exciting.
