The country wasn’t $16.3 Trillion in debt back in 1966 …

Hmm. I just said to a friend that the New Year is over. Let’s go back to 2012. I haven’t finished it yet.
@ Cooncat: Vietnam is over, though. The ‘Cold War’ is over, too. Not that it hasn’t been replaced by others.
But NASA isn’t sending men into space anymore. Astronauts/cosmonauts have to go to China or Russia to get into space—at least for now.
Anyone else care to fill in some new/changed situations?

The thing with a used year though, is that it’s usually MUCH cheaper to afford.

Yeah before Ronny Raygunz brought us Voodoo Economics and jacked up our national debt with tax cut welfare for the rich and greedy and increased defense spending.

Lucy, it’s not called “used” anymore. Try “previously lived”.

Not a “used year” Lucy, just a new date on the same old things still there.

You might want to check out where the spending is going you will find that it is mostly entitlement programs now it is no longer defense like it used to be. I myself was quite surprised.
