If ever there is an iconic comic strip, it is Peanuts. What began in the funny pages in 1950 has developed into an enduring classic. Whether you're persnickety like Lucy, a philosopher like Linus, a joyous Flying Ace like Snoopy, or a lovable underdog like Charlie Brown, there is something to touch your heart or make you laugh in Peanuts.

I almost thought that was a bruschetta with caviar Linus was holding/eating.

If it’s any comfort, Linus, Pooh could hear honey pots calling him all the way across the Forest and through thick fog.

When I was a kid it was the “sugar sandwich.” Piece of bread spread with marge and covered with a heavy coating of sugar. No worse than the cheap cereals that cost so much money.

Doesn’t Snoopy say this sort of thing with cookies with his explorer Woodstocks?

@Top Cat
If characters from this cartoon eat peanut butter, is that considered cannibalism?

Linus must hate peanut butter as much as I do, but I’d be more partial to a corned beef sandwich right now than a jelly sandwich.

I remember sugar sandwiches … something I’d forgotten about. Don’t think I’m up to trying one for old time’s sake though.
