Better question: how do you CAGE a blanket? My guess is stuff it in a lobster trap.

Ah yes, the Peanuts version of a furball (what Babylon 5 memorably called a three-dee dogfight between Star Furies).

Heh, how many suburban towns still have trash burners? (The two in which I grew up had nixed them by 1970.) Wonder when the strip was penned …

When somebody said Lucy will finally learn to respect that blanket, and I said not with her 5 minute attention span, I was wrong. Make that a 30 second attention span.
How long did Charles Shulz continue this story arc anyway, because it’s the best he ever published. I love it!

The small print has a 1965 copyright date; whether that’s a “blanket” date to cover all comics, I don’t know. (NOT meant to be a pun.)

I remember this strip from 1965. This was the beginning of the strip’s greatest period.

Lucy, you will have to sneak a little extra fabric softener into the wash. That should take the starch out of that blanket.

I’d say it needs more starch.
