Now that I think of it, the only neighborhood dog that our cats were able to intimidate was a beagle.

Snoopy must know my boss. Every time I screw something up at work, I hear about it from her for at least 20 minutes non-stop, depending on how mad she is about it!

I know how you feel, little Snoopy….This reminds me of all of the lectures I got from Mom….I also just stayed and listened…then forgot what she said a min. later…

Ugh, few things are worse than a ‘told-you-so’ lecture…

Self control isn’t a sign of maturity, it’s a sign of knowing when to give in and when not to. Loosing your temper happens to all of us, just as long as it doesn’t happen to often it’s not a bad sign. But if it happens at the drop of a hat then you have problems.

I once had a cat who would go out of his way to torment dogs. One time I saw him be treed by a dog and when the dog turned to leave he jumped on the dog’s back with open claws and rode that dog like a horse.

Didn’t the neighbors once complain about Snoopy bothering their kitten?

CB didn’t even notice Snoopy left and came back. I know many like that. Once they start holding forth they are oblivious to everything but the sound of their own voice.

Think how much worse a lecture from Lucy would be!

My brother had a cat that tormented dogs (and sometimes rode them). My sister in law invited us to Christmas on year, and told us to bring our dog, who was an Old English Sheepdog. When my dog approached the cat, my sister-in-law said “watch this, this will be funny” (which it was).
The cat, took a swipe at him, only to discover that the dog was “heavily armored”. The swipe just netted the cat a handful of fur, and an angry dog. The cat spent the rest of the evening hiding, and my dog had a nice, peaceful evening. My sister in law never invited my dog over for Christmas again, however.

It seems to me the wrong person is getting lectured. Cat food! GOOD GRIEF!
