    They still send out form rejection notes. Usually post cards, sometimes e-mails, sometimes very nice letters.

    That applies to anyone who’s ever submitted their work for publication. There was a great piece in MAD years ago that focused on rejection slips.

    The best writers of all time are also the ones who had the most rejection slips. In a similar light, Cy Young, the winningest pitcher in MLB history, also has the most losses.
