    Originally that was the right way, up until Franz Liszt switched the piano around as you are suggesting..

    You mean before cue cards? I am sure even today some theatres have prompters if an actor occasionally loses his line. It hasn’t happened to me in years but is certainly possible…???

    Don’t they use teleprompters, now?
