    He’s right. It’s tedious. You spend a lot of time standing around. Most of the other players are egotistical, uneducated, drug using reprobates. Junk food is everywhere. And, win or lose, when you get old, you’re washed up.

    Yes he is. The question is the name of the man in right field.
    In case those of you out there not familiar with one of the most famous Abbott and Costello routines in history, this is how I remember it (apparently there is more than one version—-yeesh:);
    1B-Who
    2B-What
    3B-I dunno
    ss-I don’t give a darn/don’t care
    C-Today
    P-Tomorrow
    LF-Why
    CF-Because

    There is no right fielder, so if the opposition learns to hit there, they win every time.
    And I am too young to remember Lou Costello, but I was alive before Bud Abbott croaked in 1974. (Maybe he couldn’t live with the thought of the designated hitter ruining his routine?)

    The right fielder is named “Nobody” because nobody was named in the sketch.

    Like the song by Sylvia? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhrcmDFt02c
    Or Olive, the “other” reindeer?
    Well done in either case.
