    Szep shouldn’t just criticize the tea partyers about reality and turn a blind eye to regular Republicans and Democrats.

    True.. but starting with the most extreme is a good start.

    This is missing the illusory tricorn hat, musket, and calendar for the year 1823.

    In keeping the balance, their view of decent Americans trying to help their country is just as distorted.

    When the “TEA party” thing first got started, some fairly rational people did sign on. But, that movement has proceeded quite further down the “bowels of politics” since. The toon is quite accurate.

    In my opinion, the Teahadists live in an echo chamber allowing no dissent from extreme viewpoints, and unfortunately, the republican party caters to them

    @Tigger

    Wrong sir! This applies to a small segment of politicians who think up is down, left is right, and anything that helps the American people is bad for them.

    Hmm, and onguard’s typical eloquence proves my point.

    Those tea partiers, they want a less intrusive government that lives within the confines of the tax dollars it collects. What a bunch of kooks.

    The most extreme tea party person wants less gubmint, lower taxes, and less spying on public. Tea Party folks read and understand the Constitution, no where in it is, providing health care for anyone. Just because you have health care does not mean, A, you can find a doctor, B, he/she will treat you and C, that he/she will treat you for what your plan pays them. When will you Progs understand that the US Federal Gubmint can not do all things for all people without taking the money away first, at the point of a gun, and not overrun its headlights, meaning with freedom comes risk, without freedom, you may be safe but you can’t do anything. Papers please, sound familiar?

    You must have never been to a tea party meeting, my god, they say the Pledge of Allegiance and maybe even a prayer to begin a meeting.
