That’s what “Globalisation” can get you into if you’re not careful – or a fanatic former drunk from Texas that stole the election.

We’ve been running that maze created by the military-industrial complex since the 1950’s, always a new “enemy”, never an end to the need to spend more. BTW; with all our interventions, why DID Ike do nothing to help the revolutionaries in Hungary, 1956 who were fighting the Russians with pie plates set out to simulate mines, getting their tanks to stop, and be taken? (A friend was one of those Hungarian freedom fighters who escaped to the U.S. later. Despite all our current “righties” who accuse any Democrat, or Liberal, of being "socialist’ or “Communist”, many of us have much more personal experience with totalitarian regimes, “communist” or otherwise, and have valid cause to question what the “TEA Party” and extremists on the right REALLY have in mind for America. Feudalism, fascism, and fanaticism, are the “three F’s” producing the fourth; fear, which THEY use as a tool, and an excuse for their being “Four F” in the real war to preserve REAL freedom from dominatrix assaults masked as “patriotism”/“nationalism”.

WWI was partly started because countries had pacts that said, if you are attacked I will defend you.
    .
So now we back S Korea and if N Korea attacks we will be drawn into the war even if the S Koreans can defend themselves. If we get involved in a war between the Koreas, China might side with the north and might even attack Taiwan who we also have a pact with. Russia might back the Chinese and Europe would back the US and so on toward a worldwide conflict.
