The NRA did begin as a rational organization. That ended some time ago, as it became the “NO Rational Alternative” organization. When La Pierre now has reversed his OWN position from 1999 on background checks from mandatory good, to the radical NO WAY of today, is just one example.

Chicago has the strictest Gun Laws of any City in the USA, they also have the Highest Rate of Gun Violence than any City in the Nation. This is proof that banning guns will not halt gun violence.
