Isn’t it ironic that Congress wants everyone else to have an inferior plan but for themselves and their families…

Well, most everyone else already has an inferior plan… Jokes aside, did not Obama’s proposal call for the public option being based on what Congress is using?

Well, why should they live under the same constraints as commoners? Surely you don’t think you are the same as they are? Please! Do you get 110% of your salary when you retire? I sure won’t. So why would you think that the rich politicians would provide everyone else with what they work so hard to give themselves? Delusional much?

Yep, most others already have an inferior plan, and at greater personal cost out of pocket. But then we commoners don’t get a free car and driver, tax-free per diem payments, etc.

New constitutional amendment: Congress shall receive compensation and benefits no greater than the median compensation and benefits of the U.S. population.

    I vote YES!

Congress has the same health plan coverage that all the rest of the Feds have. (You know, all us lazy layabout civil servants.) Look it up by Googling FEHP and educate yourselves on what exactly it is.

Actually the FEHB is the plan option, with options available from “private” companies, they’re looking at. While not every employee has access to Walter Reed and other perks, one might also look back at how “wonderful” going to Reed really was.

Yeah, I wish I had the Congressional plan: Primera Blue Cross Blue Shield…
