   Texans: “No, we’re not. Besides, the Supreme Court says that there’s only two ways we can secede: Revolution or being allowed to by the other states.”
   Secessionists: “If that’s the case, viva la revolucion!”

    Howgozit, that sounds very much like you believe you can do anything you want because you have decided that’s what the constitution means. We have the judiciary to determine how the constitution is to be interpreted, and I will trust them before trusting you.
    BTW, we had a war in the 19th century over states that chose to secede. Texas was one of them. That was the point when all questions about secession as treason were answered.

    I have not given any interpretation of the Constitution here, do not promote seceding from the Union–but yet a couple of you believe that to be the case. Read things for what it is not what you purport it to be to back your narrow views. cd: just where did I say the Constitution said I “could do whatever I want..”

    There are times (such as the last 8 years) when I would have liked to secede from the union. At least we know how some of the people in Texas feel.
