I wonder if Rand Paul will plagiarize this cartoon, or has he given up commiting plagiary for a little while?

Nope – they went after people on the left and right, and appropriately after groups who were claiming tax breaks they did not deserve.

Let’s start with the Democrats! Better to rid ourselves of the criminals in our midst first, then go after the criminals outside the fence!

If you are against the Tea Party & It’s belief in the Constitution you are an Enemy of the USA. If you want Socialism / Communism move to North Korea.

So then you think there should be nothing that is tax exempt?

Hmmm…. I agree. Then we could get rid of a large portion of the IRS since there would be no tax exempt status and no need to regulate.

Well Pat, I see your tolerance for different opinion and diversity on display. Why not wanting to have a government that continues to spend more than it collects and yet still increases taxes so that it can collect more but never manages to collect enough must be pure ignorance worthy of death. Yep, need to take all those of different opinion out back and shoot them in the head.

But first you have to make everyone dependent on government for their daily bread, take away every means to mount self defense and get rid of that pesky constitution.

Why do you always deny you are part of the Tea Party?

Wasn’t there a Christian disciple dude who denied it 3 times or something then a cock crowed and…I forget. Hearing any roosters yet, Bruce?

    @omQ R

Because I am not a member of the TEA Party. I am a conservative libertarian in ideology and have not formally joined any political party. I support those that more closely reflect my own personal opinions.

    Small government.

which would result in less need to tax.

Which would require a true budget that has a portion caved out labeled “principle payment” rather than an estimate of how much you need to borrow to meet spending.

    among other things.

If the TEA party candidate is the one that talks that talk well so be it.

But again, I have joined no political party.

And comparing me to Peter….well….. seems lame to me.

    You’re in denial.

Yesterday I praised Mike5 for his cool composure in the face of an offensive insult. And immediately afterwards, here I am taunting you (albeit not offensively. I hope).

Bad, bad form. Please accept my apologies.

Btw, I accept you’re not a Tea Party member but boy, you sure do sympathise with their lot a whole lot!

    Cheerio and all that.

Dude, you have to go to much greater lengths to offend me…..

No apology necessary. No harm done.

But I am curious. How is it that you feel I am in denial?

Really, I just want to see government restraint and the wise and practical use of taxes.

That is interesting. However, I am of the hands on variety not much taken by the theories of economists.

Debt is a fine tool. I use it.

But – as Mr. Franklin pointed out – " think what you do when you run in debt: you give another power over your liberty."

One should be cautious as to who exactly one is indebted to.

There should always be a “plan” as to how and when one would eliminate each occurrence.

While governments have the ability to “print money” (for lack of a better description), prudence dictates that one be prepared should the debt be called due. Governments are no exception.

So if you properly budget your resources there may not be the opportunity to become extremely wealthy, but you can better use what you do have for the “general welfare”.

All I see is the wish for the current method to continue so those in power may continue to feather their own pockets with the work of the “lower classes”.

I say you’re in denial because you stand up to all criticisms of the Tea Party. You are, at the very least, a Tea Party sympathiser. It’s not an insult, of course; I’m just surprised you don’t identify with them when you agree with just about everything they stand for, and defend their positions , and their “honour”, on this forum.
