Angela should be happy she’s getting her windows cleaned for free. Not to mention the millions of Germans saved from a terrorist thermonuclear attack (details classified Top Secret) had it not been detected and thwarted by Prism.

Oliphant drew a nude Gingrich a while back, now Merkel—both in a Renoir style. Oliphant seems fond of drawing celebrity skin. A true artist, he even shows a mirror image.

    Who’s next, Chris Christie?

You can’t be blinded by hype when you are wearing blinkers so you can’t see anything but FAUX Noise.
Of course, shrub didn’t turn out to be what he campaigned as either. If he had campaigned as a President that was going to declare war on a country for NO GOOD REASON, do you think he would have “won” in 2000?

    @King,
The pot is calling a kettle black. Indeed, you’re one of the most ignorant posters on this site.

Obama lied about health care. You don’t care. Obama lied about spying. You don’t care.

It’s amazing your heart has the motivation to continue pumping.

The details of which may bear an uncanny resemblance to an episode of “24”. That show, as we all know, was very factual.

As a conservative .., no .., extremist, Bill, you are obligated to insult……What is far worse is stating opinion as fact….
Our nation does have problems……but few solutions….
Spying ….this MUST be kept as absolute 100% secret…..no-one needs to know….maybe in our open society , this is impossible….
    ACA web site overload………..
I think that our President should have , in a nation-wide speech, declared a few access rules…
For instance …week one for everyone with their last name starting with A and B …and so forth , allowing about 10 weeks for sign up…
    just an idea….

Since the NSA started monitoring Merkel’s cell phone in 2002, that means someone in shrub’s administration authorized it.
Since the NSA is under the defense department, that means it was more then likely Rummy, or even Darth Cheney himself.
Now that leave us with 3 choices…

#1. shrub DIDN’T know, so that makes him at least as clueless as the rightwingnuts are hollering that Obama is.#2. shrub DID know, and didn’t try to stop it, which makes him an accessory to breaking international laws against spying.#3. shrub DID know and tried and failed to stop it, which means he was a weak, ineffectual President, unable to control “his” administration.Which do you think it was??

Some people voted for Mr. Obama. Some people voted against Mr. Romney. Those of us smart enough to vote against Mr. Romney realized what we were doing, but we also realized that it was the lesser of two evils. We’re not as stupid and blinded as you might think.

If the Republicans want to stop Hillary Clinton in 2016, they’d better look to another candidate pool than the ones they used in 2008 and 2012.

Given the choice of bad or worse, I also chose bad.
We had already done worse and indeed it was.

Ah, if only one of the choices on offer really WERE a lesser evil! Sadly, there has been no
lesser evil on offer for at least 50 years! Each is equally bad as the other!

I have little doubt that a LOT goes on in Washington and NO President knows anything…
But, I’d admit , I expect more from Mr Obama than…say a Bush, any Bush, still, Obama should have stopped it….maybe…..
And, I’d consider the conservative comments on this and other matters to be trash….

Maybe I’m just too cynical, but I assume that whatever the surveillance agencies can do they will do. I don’t think it matters which party is in power, they’re going to do it. They will do it with permission and they will do it without permission. They have more power than any president. Any president who tries to stop them will quickly find out that it can’t be done.

It wouldn’t surprise me to discover down the road that you are right.

It would also not amaze me to discover that Germany, Australia, the rest of the EU, the UK … all playing the same game.

In truth, I’d be surprised if they weren’t.

If the Democrats want someone better than HC then they’d better start beating the drums now. Or it will be another lesser evil election.
