I wondered at least a little about hackers myself at first but it seems to be plain ol’ incompetence (plus unexpectedly heavy traffic). Why they wanted people to create accounts before browsing makes no sense whatsoever.

What on earth is Oliphant trying to say, that it’s just not that big a deal?

At the tender age of 40 I was laid off as an IT worker. Everywhere I applied, they wanted people who had not yet started shaving. One of my good friends said he could not possibly hire anyone over 20 to build his company website.

And when, after giving a 17 year old $100,000, there was no website, he said, ‘If he couldn’t do it with $100,000, there is no way on old fogie like you could possibly have done it for a million.‘

And he was convinced he was right.

And if 17 year olds — who have only played on IT systems but have never developed one — are much more capable of building IT systems than 40 year olds, how much better would a 5 year old be than that 17 year old?

Clearly, the ACA computer system is a massive problem, that’s why no one over 5 could possibly fix it, but (if government regulations didn’t prohibit using 5 year olds) one could get it running in no time, while hundreds of 40 year old PhDs would take ten years to get a system that didn’t really work.

And Oliphant obviously believes that, just like my friend.

Ten years from now, most Republicans who are eligible will be on the ACA by choice!

No, the 5 year old will merely delete the directories.

So, if all these mishaps are allegedly accidental, then
the penalties for not enrolling, or being able to are also
unintentional? Or, was this horrible system implemented to
shakedown many who will not be in compliance? The public
had no votes in these debacles, & are actually penalized for
being outlaws to healthcare.Pardon me, I just lost my freedom of choice, & have to (eternally) search for it.

That food will give the kid diabetes which is going to make health care go broke in the long run.
