OK, great commentary (especially the complaints part); however, what’s up with the bear in the left hand corner?

For those whose eyes are going, the inscription reads “Please direct all complaints to the Office of Posthumous Adjustment.”

That’s a dog, I believe, but WHAT? No comment from the diminutive duck? Are we left to create our own?
ramblwrk68 said, 4 months ago
I think the duck is speechless, and probably for its own good!

Actually, for those who care, his name is “Punk”, and he’s a Penguin.

Duck, bear — what’s with you old geezers? This was a test. You must be fur-eigners. Pronounce this word: Plate. And what city do the Dodgers play out of? But why is his front door so big? Mighty suspicious, I’d say.

It would be perfect if the thing spoke with the voice of Marvin the Martian.

The voice of Douglas Rain (aka HAL 9000) would be appropriate too. Though something called “drone” should really just go on and on in an unchanging monotone that never seems to stop.

Drones developed and first used by Bush and the Republicans. And would you send our troops, and spend billions more, to ferret out avowed enemies of our country.? Remember, WE did not declare jihad. Are we to just sit back and not respond to the 9/11s, underwear bombers, shoe bombers, etc. who are recruited/trained/armed by these jihadists? Pakistan, et. al. can whine all they want, but since they choose to not confront these terrorists, WE have no choice. Since THEY choose not to respect others’ way of life, they put themselves in harm’s way. Or do you want another Mali?

You’re right, Jack…this is a very tough issue for most conservatives. On one hand, they have to be against the drones because Obama is currently using them. On the other hand, they can’t be against anything military.
I guess since part of their definition of “support the troops” is “send them into harm’s way whenever possible”, they’re miffed that the drones are keeping the troops out of the line of fire?
