“Obama’s Priorities are not Americans Priorities.”

I suspect that Obama’s priorities are simply not YOUR priorities. Poll the twenty people closest to you. If they all voted against Obama, they are not representative of America. If they all voted FOR Obama, they are not representative of America. If 9 voted against him and 11 voted for him, then they are representative of America.

God bless the president for having the courage to face off against those that only impede progress. A real leader for the 21st century.

shows what a hard road he still has to travel. It had to have been frustrating when the GOP’s first priority was to make him fail and never agree with him on anything. And rough to have a “news” channel that stirs up hatred and divisiveness.
And his accusers won’t even listen to what good he has done so that even though he spent less than any recent president, they say he spent more, not thinking about the interest on the debt piling up hourly. So, GOd bless our President for the
    next 4 years!
And if we disagree that doesn’t man I’m stupid or a dim-lib, or one of the horrible names which both sides say at each other. It just means we don’t agree.

What is sad about onguard and skeptikal’s comments is that there are Democrats who feel the exact same way. Our political system was designed to allow experimentation and to give new ideas a chance. Our current political environment does not permit this. If Romney was President, we could be certain the senate would bend over backwards to prevent republican experimentation to take place. Sometimes, you have to do something, even if it might be wrong, in order to fix what is broken. The system is designed to prevent one party from making such significant changes as to make it impossible for another election to reverse the bad things. If Rs and Ds fail to find common ground, we may never know if a given President’s ideas would have helped, and if that happens, the only thing that will prevent other nations from taking advantage of our divisions is our military. If foreign hackers are able to disable our satellites, infrastructure, and/or become able to pinpoint the location of subs and other assets, we will become impotent and vulnerable. When you pray for gridlock, you give our enemies a chance to prey on us.
    Respectfully,
    C.

I agree that a vast majority of the Democrats would probably oppose any republican proposals but I am sure you can agree that the Democrats are NOT a monolithic homogeneous group in lock-step behind their party’s agenda like the republicans are. So it is very conceivable that the republicans in the Senate could have acquired enough Democratic splinter votes to have furthered their agenda. The republicans are united in a unanimous opposition to anything the President is for, the Democrats on the other hand are not united in blind support.

Are the mindless republican propaganda shills still harping on the golf shtick? Even if you were to take every golf outing and add it to vacation days taken, President Obama still hasn’t taken as many vacation days as his predecessor. And once you consider how many golf outings were during vacations and weekends (the President does get “days off” right?) the number is really insignificant, your doctor probably plays more. But when you have NOTHING legitimate make something up, no matter how ridiculous.
