Many of you have expressed curiosity and even concern about the comic hiatus for Pat Oliphant's drawings. We wanted to share that Pat is doing well, in good health, but simply on vacation. As soon as when we have an update on the date of his next drawing, we'll share the news here and via social media.

I am hoping this is snark, because actually they do extremely well overseas. Thoughtful, well acted human stories made by talented directors do badly. Just like the domestic market.

Yeyha, just following that good ole liberal free-market capitalism which gives the customers whatever they wants, as much as they want for a price that gives the movie companies all the profit they want. Hollywood practices some of the most naked conservative capitalism on the planet and don’t kid yourself.
