That is, of course, Ryan in the station wagen, with Romney on top. Isn’t it?

Is Mitt the Twit the REAL candidate, or . . . ?

“Is Mitt the Twit the REAL candidate?” Maybe not.

Another commenter elsewhere pointed out that the Richthuglicon’s puppet-masters have likely already concluded that this election is forfeit, especially after the primary fiaso. So Ryan is actually being positioned and groomed to be the Thug’s candidate in 2016.

Personally, I just wish they’d shut up and go away. All of ’em, but the Thugs especially.

Do Republicans actually believe that Ryan is a fiscal conservative?

We’re respectful when it’s warranted. To these pair of CON men – they deserve all the snickering and sneering it takes to shame them, and to get others to see through their pathetic game.

And let’s face it, after Newt’s nasty election playbook from ‘94, wherein he told the new Repubs to use every viscious smear they could dream up, even providing them with a list of words like “socialist” and “coward” to fling at their opponent’s, any attempt by the right wing to accuse the Democrats of incivility is a vile joke from a dispicable party. The Republican Party of 2012 is a bitter and racid collection of racists, kooks and greedy whores. And you can quote me!

You are historically correct. The problem is that most folks political memory only lasts a short while. How else can you explain Gingrich’s appeal in the recent primaries? A guy who runs on his integrity, when there has already been ample evidence of his malfeasance in both his personal and his political life.

For that matter, why weren’t folks up in arms when Bush II brought some of Nixon’s aides and administrators into his administration? There was ample evidence that Cheney and Rumsfeld had unsavory pasts.
