After reading Pat Oliphant for many years, I keep hoping that someday he will do a funny editorial cartoon and not something that is inane.

Nice try. It’s Democrats who celebrate pedophiles in their ranks. Gerry Studds, anyone?

Republicans have gone the full Bialystock and realized the fastest way to make money is to run a losing presidential campaign. Get your name out there, fleece some rich donors, spend a fraction of what you take in, then write a book about the entire experience and go on a lecture circuit. The whole key is to not win the nomination. Look – another production of “Springtime for Cheney”.

Cain, Romeny, Gingrich, Backmann even Santorim would be better then Obama.

Once more Oliphant deftly captures the flavor of the moment: the current doofus rolling helplessly away, still yakking. Good night, Herman, and thanks for playing.

Oliphant rocks. The GOPers can only groan at their lack of talent. Rove must be spinning under his badd hairpiece.

Cain has been tried, convicted, and crucified by the media, and yet there has been no proof — only hearsay. He may be guilty, but this strip, along with others, are grotesquely unfair. Where is “innocent until proven guilty?”

He hasn’t been charged with any crime, he’s been running for public office. At this point, it’s a popularity contest. Hearsay or no, his popularity is plummeting. If he wishes to stay in the fight, it’s been done; Clinton’s “zipper problem” was well-known at this point in his presidential run. But if he does, Cain’s going to have to deal with this allegation of a 13-year affair head-on; it isn’t going to go away.

And hey, Gingrich is a known serial adulterer, and his star is RISING at the moment…

We know that you’d LIKE to believe that sonny; but, even you can see that it isn’t true. President Obama is a constitutional scholar, an incredibly accomplished community organizer and a potential champion for progressive democratization of this country if reelected. His weakness is that he insisted on finding common ground with a bunch of corporate paid-for stooges who never had ANY intention of cooperating. I think he sees the light now. If only people like you could see it too, but, it’s too late now. You are probably permanently blind. Too bad.
