The purpose of government is to protect the opulent rich from the masses. Allowing the rabble into the streets is a dangerous precedent that could lead to the common man having a real say in the Government. This must be prevented at all cost least we have an “Arab Spring” of our own.

Sure we have…if you choose to beleive what you hear on right-wing extremist radio instead of what you see with your own eyes.

And are you ever going to answer my question about why you think the Dems are Nazis?

( For those not in the know, he always refers to the Democrats as the Democratic Natonal Socialist Party )

Better get used to it Saruman, this question isn’t going away.

In facrt, it wouldn’t suprise me if a whole bunch of other people start demanding an answer to that question from you, every time you post.

Two weeks ago Rose Ann Barr said any one making over 100 million needs to go to some sort of re-education camp and if they refuse to be re-educated they should be killed.

Now we have a picture of guillotine? Words and images do matter.

@comix2000: Sure they could all get jobs, the ones that the wallstreet “job makers” created, but they’d need to move to China and the Phillipenes.

And where in the US Constitution does it grant Obama the authority to do darn near anything he’s done? Have you read the thing? AND understood it? You are in agreement with what Obama has done solely because you agree with it—if those same unconstituional acts ended up with something you disagreed with, you’d be first in line to howl.

Well, you do know that “NAZI” was a shortened version of “National Socialist”, did you not? And the modern Democrat party is being run, arguably, by socialists, so….

Which unconstitutional acts are you referring to, specifically? Don’t just expect us to take your word for what you said, show us exactly HOW Obama thumbed his nose at the Constitution..

And remember….you said ‘darn near EVERYTHing he’s done is unconstitutional. So just going on about Libya won’t cut it.

And where were all you righties when Bush violated the Constitution with his warrantless wiretaps…beside praising him to the high heavens?

No, that ‘argument’ was first made by a FOX news personality who now admits he only said it because he liked the way it sounded.

And as for YOUR argument that National Socialism and Socialism are the same thing, simply because they both contain the same word the same word, I would point out to you that People’s Republic of China and Republican Party ALSO contain the same word..

itś a comic. laff at it. if you see the images on the news, the last thing anyone is going be is frightened by the so-called oppressed masses eating cake on wall street. if anything, theyŕe just confirming their former employers decision to can them, and ensuring noone watching them will Ever hire them…thus making their self-inflicted agony permanent.

Bilgog, one of three possible reasons…1. They don’t know the adjective form of the word democracy. 2. Too stupid to know the correct name. 3. They are childish…

What has Obama done? Get the 1994 GOP health care bill (that guarantees profits for the insurance leeches) passed? Get a stimulus bill half as big as needed in the first place with half of that diverted to more “job-killing” tax cuts for the wealthy? Let the Bush-Cheney war criminals off scot free and keep their wars simmering"? Let the banksters who crashed the economy off too? Send Bush’s “job-killing” FTAs unaltered for Congressional approval? That you don’t like all this stuff portends badly for what you’d actually like to see the government do.
And btw, right there in the preamble, along with “provide for the common defense” which your type always remembers, it lists “promote the general Welfare.” It also doesn’t limit securing “the Blessing of Liberty” to only the wealthiest, and calls for the establishment of “Justice,” not merely a legal system. No doubt you see “insure Domestic Tranquility” as a synonym for repression of dissent, but wiser folks realize that means creating a nation with real opportunity for ALL. If you read any history besides the cartoon tea bag version you’d know that the Founders purposely increased the power of the central government after the debacle of the Articles of Confederation (which the GOP acts as if is still the law of the land). That’s what “form a more perfect union” meant. And you’d know that the greatest prosperity the world has ever seen came about because of the New Deal you hate so much (and that the top 1% from the Du Pont brothers to the Koch brothers has been rolling back since WWII ended). Time to restore it and finish implementing it. When the Occupy protesters get down to brass tacks (without beheading too many bankster scumbags, I hope), I believe they’ll find FDR’s Economic Bill of Rights to their liking.
