Yeap., the crooks are waiting for their bail-outs..
and after that He’s going to set up Federal Banks to loan money to every one, have Universal Heath care for all, cut your taxes, and reduced the deficit by half, after last night’s speech instead of the Messiah we should call him now the Magician…

Oli has lost me permanently. First it was his vile mysogyny and not it is pure stupidity. People losing their houses were not irresponsible. Most ofthem lost their jobs and then couldn’t pay their mortgages not the other way around. I’ve had it with the lies and the liars. Boycott time all round.

Right, perfectimp. I heard the other day that the octomom was like a bad breakfast: no eggs, no sausage, and the guy in the next booth has to pay for it.

Hey, Rick Santelli, why the outcry over the potential bailout of some speculators and irresponsible borrowers, but no outcry over the fact that the bank executives ultimately responsible for underwriting it all are still in charge and paying themselves handsomely with T.A.R.P. money?

BTW, Machado and oldlegodad, this turn should not surprise either of you…Oliphant has always consistently called out whoever is in charge…

oldlegodad: Yes, I admit it was indeed an eyebrow-raiser to see the depiction yesterday of the president’s propensity towards lacking specifics taken all the way to the extreme position of utter obfuscation…kinda like this comment, yuk yuk yuk

oh pat, give it a break. i guess when we are threatened by war we should just advise folks to got out and buy guns, est. private ‘poorhouse’ for orphans [etc]. bankrupts [many for bankers] etc etc. but thats ok. i’ve really enjoyed [most] of your work since the Denver Post days.
