Whoa! Agree or disagree, this is yet another fantastic piece of artwork from Pat Oliphant.
( Personally, I would recommend kerosene and a match. )

Soap, water, AND Eau de Cochon?
Water of Pig?
Frenchy (Frog was a derogatory term when I played in the Ottawa Philharmonic and I do not use eet) does he plan to have them smell the same when he’s done… a rose by any other name?
I love the surrealism of this sketch..
it is right up there with Goya’s Caprices!
OLÉ, OLÍ!

Yes, now that you mention it, this drawing does look a bit Goya-esque.
Good call.

This insults pigs.

It was reported on NBC Nightly last evening that the banks who received bailout money were attending a conference held at the uber-extravagant Venetian in Las Vegas; heck, at least out of remorse they should’ve put ‘em up on Fremont, where all the “ugly people’s” casinos are.

It looks a little like a study of hell. Or Greed, one of the 7 deadly sins.

This insults pigs. Not to mention pit bulls. Mine is highly offended, poor thing!

My only problem with this is that there’s quite a few government pigs (from both parties) that need to get hosed too. Lots of government officials have been doing too much ass-covering for themselves and letting banks take more than their fair share of the blame.
But unfortunately if you’re going to accept government money, you’re going to do things on their terms and that includes taking blame.

iamthelorax, good point but first things first.

This reminds me of a scene in a movie where concentration camp guards sprayed a prisoner with a hose until he froze to death. It was pretty creepy.

Alas, there’s but a third of the herd. Bring on the elephants and donkeys (the ones we call clowns).
