Hillary and Bill, God’s gift to cartoonists. Oliphant’s cartoons are almost worth seeing her as SoS, which would otherwise be a disaster.

Funny how the exact opposite is happening isn’t it? He’s not on guard for these people he’s letting them in with open arms!

TheGreatSatan, just because he is welcoming them does NOT mean he’s not on guard… quite the opposite!

Got anything to back up that claim, Great Satan?

Evidently you folks haven’t noticed that Obama is reading up on his Lincoln history. Lincoln appointed political enemies to his cabinet, in a “spirit of reconciliation,” but also as a brilliant political move to keep the newly-formed Republicans together AND make his enemies work for him rather than against him! Many thought that this inexperienced ex-Congressman would be managed by his experienced opponent Seward, and that actually reassured Seward’s supporters. In fact, Lincoln called all the shots. Over time, Seward became one of Lincoln’s biggest fans. His role? Secretary of State…

raycity the racist, I applaud your restraint for not making a bigoted comment but you’re still ignorant. McCain had the big money behind him and Obama got his money from ordinary Joes (plumbers included) like us.

What planet are you living on, DALLASDAN? Obama was far ahead in collecting big bucks, not the least of them coming from Wall Street. Ordinary Joes, my ass!

John, ray, I see you’ve bought into the latest lie, which is that “Obama bought the election.” Didn’t talk that way when Bush bought his, did you? Truth is, DallasDan is correct. Obama got far more money from everyday Americans in small quantities than McCain did. Obama got some from corporations, but nothing like the typical Republican. The vast majority of that huge income advantage came from individuals.

jk if you’ll check this out http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/donordems.php?cycle=2008 you’ll see that Obama had a higher % of donors than McCain who gave $200 or less but McCain takes the lead when it comes to the % giving $2300+ and $4600+
