To give you an idea of how regulated Singapore is,citiizens are required by law to have an onboard computer in their car.
Once a month, you are required to present that computer at a police station. If it shows you were driving over the speed limit at ANY TIME the previous month, you get a ctitation.

They’re just getting ahead of the curve.

It’s interesting to compare a family relationship to a monarchy government.

“I will have to overthrow you” I had to swallow my coffee before I choked with laughter.
I tried that one day while growing up with defiance to authority.
    The result were as follows
My parents went “Good, live that way. Oh, okay so you want to fix your own food and do your own clothes.” I went great. I went to fridge to get something to eat. Saw nothing I liked. Asked mom to buy it at the store. Her answer. “You are responsible for yourself now. Get a job and buy your own food and clothes. Oh, by the way I am going to have to start charging rent and board. Ten dollars a week.” That was my allowance a week. I got the point. However I did offer to do more chores but that was just laughed at. I was already doing those chores.
I did however get a concession to pick my own clothes within reason and price.

One advantage of having Asperger’s syndrome is having the sense to realize that, as a kid, you’re getting the better part of the bargain. This strip reminds me of dealing with my step kids back in the dark days of my marriage.

Had a brother spreading the dirt like Pigpen. So we started putting the mess where the mess belonged – his bed. Took about 2 months of sleeping on the popcorn kernels he’d left all over the den.
Mom could clean the room better, and much faster than Mil. But Mil has to learn about dealing with clutter.

Put it away or its thrown away was another good standby.

I was partly housebroken. My Mom managed to teach me to put dirty clothes in the hamper and dirty dishes in the sink (later the dishwasher). A large trash can and a constantly growing brick and board bookcase kept the mess from getting past ankle deep, mostly.

You already overthrew Ozy’s dad, remember, fox-girl?

And how did THAT work out for ya?
