Hmm. wisdom is explaining things as they are, not gibberish like “If the beer can is empty, the man was drunk in Chicago”

Here’s some line from one of the most wise but stupid persons ever on the planet,
    .
“13 I also saw under the sun this example of wisdom that greatly impressed me: 14 There was once a small city with only a few people in it. And a powerful king came against it, surrounded it and built huge siege works against it. 15 Now there lived in that city a man poor but wise, and he saved the city by his wisdom. But nobody remembered that poor man. 16 So I said, “Wisdom is better than strength.” But the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are no longer heeded.”

Learn, then unlearn… story of my life. Every time I read one fact, someone else comes along to refute it.

I don’t see how this is any different than attending school and then coming home.

When your school IS home, there’s no coming home to assist the unlearning.

Nature of fact. It exists independent of unbelief. I’ve seen 2+2=5 often enough, but never juggled enough to change the real answer no matter what I believed.

You must always be ready to lean the new and discard the old.

Homer has that crayon stuck up his nose pressing on his forebrain. Take it out and his IQ rises about 20 points. He did once but stuck it back in.
