    That’s me, examining that bug. Still love to observe them.

    With antrofomorphic animals what defines a “bug”?

    Think I’d rather study the bug than watch ‘Survivor.’

    At that age, for me, it was birds.
    Still is.

    @Tue Elung-Jensen

    One is closely scrutinizing a lower form of life with no thinking brain, only instinct….and the other is looking at a bug.

    Survivor, What a joke.
    Its a stupid fixed game show.
    I’ll show you survival. Get left behind enemy lines in Laos 1972 and find your own way to the EVAC site. You have 3 days to get there or get left behind. I had a map, compass, half canteen water, some food (cheese in a can), M16 (best friend), two full mags, and two grenades (one willie P and one frag). No cameras to talk to, no one to give me a latte if I wanted one, just me.
    I agree the bug is much more interesting.
    (I made it to the EVAC in 2 and a half days. Then had to worry about being shot by my own guys when I broke cover to get the helicopter. I work now with pilot who was flying that bird. He remembered me from all that time. I thanked him for not shooting me, thanked him a lot.)

    I once heard that a fly’s metabolism is so fast that we look as if we are in slow motion. (Geoffrey West ?)

    The bugs play it with more gusto and better appetites.

    Bugs v.s. reality TV- bugs tend to be more interesting.
