Now they have the location to best oyster beds around.
    Oh, wrong about that.
    The mysterious island.
    I still like oysters.
Easy lock those usually simple one pin to rotate the latch.
I use to do things like that.
I was curious about locked things.

So their plan is to observe their targets. Will they replace the map with a fake?

Just FYI: I realized when I uploaded this month’s strips that the previous two were posted in reverse order. It doesn’t affect the narrative a whole ton, but this page should be right after the page with the pelicans in the last panel. You can see how the two pages sort of mirror each other, since they’re set up to be a “spread” in a printed book eventually.

You’re right, the sequencing isn’t all that apparent. Be cool to see it in book form.

I’m still enjoying it, and love the illustrations, having lived on an old wooden schooner for decades. Don’t recommend it when we both age.

Mysterious Island isn’t going to be that obvious on the map, or Isabeau wouldn’t be buttering up Treacher.
    ,
the setting sun with the last light of Durin’s Day will shine upon the key hole – was on the map the whole time, but no one saw it, then no one knew what it meant.

For the past 50 years diggers have been after the treasury mentioned in the temple scrolls. The bullion inventory is very plain, but the key references aren’t.
    .
So far Judean desert 100 – treasure seekers zip.

Ahem, Mr. Towle, sailors usually refer to “maps” as charts, and perhaps the “map cabinet” as the chart locker.
