ah, the joys of a sales meeting, with sports jargon.
    .
Bulloch looks like a pacer thinker, must have been difficult for him to command a submarine.

It shouldn’t take B too long to figure there’s a rattlesnake on board.

Those pirates have much working for them and a leader who isn’t human. Probably spies as well.

Progress is not to be sneered at.

    “At first you don’t “exceed”…
    hilarious.
Commander needs a break I think.
Does he not know Tink was the inside guy???
This is not going to go well.
The selkie is going to want revenge and Commander does not know it. Yet.

They underestimated the veracity of their rivals?
    Perhaps voracity was intended?

Another example of your wonderful artwork.
    The details are wonderful.
But am rather curious why they didn’t sink the enemy’s vessel.

“…must have been difficult for him to command a submarine.”
    .
I’m assuming that you are aware that Civil War era submarines weren’t even large enough to stand up in.
They recently brought up one—I believe the “Hunley”—that sank after delivering a fatal blow to a Union blockade ship.
Submarine duty in those days was not for the faint of heart.

Oddly colored seal? A selkie perchance?

“Does he not know Tink was the inside guy???”

Commander set sail one hand short and never noticed. He’s still one hand short and hasn’t noticed.

I think, “suss,” is a modern word.

Do indeed. The voyages had a very limited time span too.
    .
A confined space is a bad place for a ‘’pacing thinker’’. Even godzilla sized modern subs have little designated pacing space.

Always good to know who your rattlesnake is. You can feed him a lot of garbage to pass on to his bosses.
