   Hey, this could catch on! Maybe that’s why I’m always striking up conversations with total strangers (which drives my wife nuts): verbal hugs!

    I had a cousin (second cousin) who used to stick hug me stickers on people. He had a great sense of fun. He was sky-diving in his sixties and that was when people still thought being sixty was old.

    Hugs should be the norm when meeting nice people instead of a limpy hand shake. It makes you feel good even if the other person has BO.
