Over the Hedge, created by T Lewis and Michael Fry, takes a freshly skewed look at suburban living from the perspective of the animals who lived there first. The strip stars RJ, a mischievous raccoon, and Verne, his sensitive best-buddy turtle. Together they fight to save their wooded wonderland from the evils of encroaching suburbia but end up becoming distracted by wide-screen TVs, discarded fast food containers and the fun of wreaking havoc on the local homeowners' association.

I much prefer this Advocate: “My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;” 1John 2:1
.
παρακλητον Paracletos, an advocate in court.

Zombie lawyer? Why make the distinction; is there any OTHER kind of lawyer?

The only difference between a dead lawyer and a dead skunk is that there are skid marks in front of the dead skunk.

Does it take the “living dead” to make a “living will”? Now Hammy’s real troubles begin with a lawyer who brings new meaning to “habeas corpses (sic)”.

see, lawyers are the walking dead zombies. they should all be shot in the head.

Consider the old saying, “A religious fanatic is anyone who’s closer to God than you are.”
.
So, I wouldn’t be so quick to call Nabuquduriuzhur, or anyone else, a “religious nut job”. (I didn’t include your word “obnoxious”, because all that means is that you, personally, don’t like his going to a place you don’t want to be…and that’s your problem, no one else’s.)
.
Someone intensely religious people are, in fact, nut jobs — but only because they’re psychopaths firsts, not because they’re religious. The dividing line, I think, is whether someone is willing to die for his beliefs, or is willing to murder others for them. (And before you get started, this applies to people of every faith, or ideology.)
.
Nabuquduriuzhur, on the other hand, has done nothing more than to present Bible passages, which are relevant to the topic, to people who may or may not want to hear them — neither deranged nor harmful behavior — and I, for one, appreciate his doing that.

You missed todays when he showed how ignorant he was by calling Feminism and Socialism religions, and bad religions at that? A fine example of banal evil.

My, what an unobnoxious comment… have I mentioned the great need for a sarcasm font?

Thank you for the distinction. I am willing to die for my faith. I am also willing to kill someone in defense of my family. I don’t need to kill anyone in defense of my faith. Which is a good thing, because there are too many “infidels”. I suppose the Muslims get by, though.

They’re more like anti-religions…I’ve never met a cheerful feminist.

And on that note I am just gone – not a lot of tolerance here today…
